Installing your decals is simple, fun and completely mess-free. Every large roll includes a Tiny Tale Prints squeegee to help you smooth everything into place.

Here’s how it works:

1. 
   Make sure your walls are clean, dry and fully cured (wait 4+ weeks after painting).
   
2. Plan your layout before peeling.
   
3. Peel gently from the backing and press onto the wall.
   
4. Use your squeegee (large rolls only) or your hand to smooth out the design.

Yes — our decals are designed to remove cleanly from smooth, properly prepared walls. When you’re ready for a change, simply warm the decal with a hairdryer on low and peel slowly from one corner.

A few things can affect results, like:

• Fresh paint (less than 4 weeks old)

• Textured walls

• Flaky or unsealed paint

Yes — our decals can be removed and re-installed later, as long as they’re kept clean and free from dust. Many customers reposition their designs when moving furniture, refreshing a room, or relocating to a new home.

• Always store decals flat on their original backing sheet to protect them

They won’t stick well to:

• Textured walls

• Raw brick, cement or render

• Chalky, dusty or flaking paint

• High-humidity areas (bathrooms, laundries)

For the best results, make sure your walls are fully cured, sealed and properly prepped.

Yes! We ship Australia-wide. Every order is printed on demand, carefully packed into a protective mailing tube and sent with tracked shipping so you can follow your Tiny Tale journey all the way to your door.

Because everything is made to order, we first print and pack your artwork, then ship it out.

As a guide:

• Printing & packing: usually 1–3 business days
• Delivery (after dispatch):
  - Metro areas: around 2–5 business days
  - Regional & remote: around 3–10 business days
  

You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your parcel is on its way.

Right now we offer standard tracked shipping on all orders. Our processing times are fast, so most parcels are printed and on the move within a few business days.

Express shipping is something we’re exploring for the future – if you’d love to see it, keep an eye on our emails and socials for updates.

If your parcel arrives looking a little worse for wear, don’t stress – we’ve got you.

Please email hello@tinytaleprints.com.au within 7 days with your order number and some clear photos of the packaging and decals. Our team will review everything and organise a solution, which may be a replacement, refund or another fix depending on what’s happened.

We’d love to send our wall decals and wallpaper overseas in the future, so if you’re outside Australia, feel free to message us and let us know where you’re from.

We know how quickly decisions can change (especially when decorating!), so if you need to make an update, just reach out as soon as possible.

Because everything is printed on demand, we can usually change or cancel an order before it enters production. Once printing has started or the order has shipped, we may not be able to make adjustments — but you can still start a return once it arrives if it meets our return conditions.

We offer 14-day change-of-mind returns for unused decals and wallpaper in their original condition. It’s our way of giving you peace of mind as you plan your space.

Here’s the quick version:

• Items must be unused and still on their backing sheet
• Packaging needs to be in original condition
• Return postage is the customer’s responsibility
• Once decals are applied to the wall, they can’t be returned

Yes — once your return is received and approved, we’ll process a refund to your original payment method.

A few things to note:

• Refunds are issued for unused products only
• If returning part of your order brings the remaining items below the $200 free-shipping threshold, a $9.95 shipping adjustment may apply
• If your entire order is returned, the actual shipping cost we paid may be deducted

Yes, as long as your decals are unused and still in their original condition, you’re welcome to exchange them within 14 days of delivery.

Here’s how it works:

• Email us at hello@tinytaleprints.com.au with your order number and what you’d like instead
• Send your original order back to us unused and on its backing sheet
• Once we’ve received and checked everything, we’ll help you organise the new design or size

For change-of-mind exchanges, you’ll just cover the return postage. If something arrived damaged or incorrect, we’ll take care of everything for you.
